Techflex® INSULTHERM MEDIUM (FGM) is a heat-treated, braided glass fiber hose impregnated with a high-quality acrylic binder. This combination effectively reduces fraying and dust formation and ensures improved handling and increased performance.
Developed for extreme conditions, FGM withstands temperatures of up to 1,200 °F (approx. 650 °C) and is ideal as primary insulation for low-voltage applications—such as in household appliances like toasters, coffee makers, and stoves. Preferred use in e-mobility. t also reliably protects small heating devices, resistors, and soldered joints that are exposed to high thermal loads.
